Outdoor Recreation Sub-Committee
The Outdoor Recreation Subcommittee was established in 2015 to advise and provide recommendations to the Recreation Aotearoa Board and staff on key priorities relating to the leadership, advocacy, and capability needs of the outdoor recreation sector.
In addition to providing key information and advice, they meet at least three times a year.

CHRIS MILDON
Chris project manages multi-use trail projects and workshops the IMBA sustainable trail build message across NZ, and he also runs NZ's well loved MTB Skills Clinics (est. 2004) - together with eight coaches around NZ, sharing the good word on developing proficient skills to open the doors to riding enjoyment.
JO PARSONS
Jo Parsons has 17 years' experience in the outdoor recreation and education sector in a variety of roles, and is motivated by a positive vision for the sector. Jo has worked in the tertiary education sector, served three terms on the NZOIA Board, and now mixes outdoor education contracting with home and office based work.
MARK JOHNSTON
Mark is working in his 20th year in the outdoor industry, the lion's share of that, hands on as an instructor and manager at Adventure Specialties Trust. Mark is committed to bringing a common sense approach to this role.
