The Council is currently seeking applications for the role of Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre Manager. In this role, you will be leading a diverse team across a range of functions to ensure the comfort, safety and security of our customers. Working closely with the Dudley Park Aquatic Centre manager, facility Coordinators and wider Aquatics team you will nurture talent and help shape the delivery of and strategy for Aquatics within the District. During the summer season, this role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services at our seasonal facilities, Oxford and Waikuku. Further, you will be responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of maintenance and plant operation across our facilities.

As Parks Project Specialist, you'll be involved in a diverse portfolio of work - providing quality advice and technical input on varied projects across the Parks Services Unit. This will include measuring and increasing the accessibility and diversity of Parks Services customer service offerings, supporting the delivery of sustainability and climate change related work, including the delivery of the Urban Ngahere (Forest) Strategy, and taking the lead in coordinating the delivery of some aspects of the Parks Sport and recreation Māori Outcomes Action Plan.

CBay operates seven days a week, so reliability and commitment to working early, late and weekend shifts is crucial. We have two full-time positions available offering 40 hours per week on a rostered basis.
