Bringing easily accessible opportunities to connect and share information. The Recreation Aotearoa team will work again with industry partners and support agencies for the Outdoors to come and really see what is happening in your organisation. Growing this connection with you will ensure you are being heard; are being supported; and are getting to speak direct to those whom can influence and action change for you.

The Outdoor Awards are still an integral and valued recognition. We will be promoting these prestigious awards over the coming months, with a summit forum and evening of celebration to be had. More detail to come.
If you are interested in hosting or contributing to your network building and sector developing sessions, please contact Fiona Ryder. From our hosts, we grow a local understanding of who we should reach and encourage to attend, plus an impression of important topics and focus for the region.
As part of your Outdoors Forum registration previously, you would have received an inclusive membership for the year. Our regional forums are free to attend (bar any specific workshop training that is offered additionally), therefore, this is a friendly reminder to ensure you stay part of the sector and help drive advocacy, development and support for you and our outdoor whānau.
Individual or Organisation membership allows you access to industry-level publications, professional development opportunities and events, communications sharing the latest recreation industry advances, and opportunities to contribute to advocacy and other industry initiatives. For more info on member benefits, check out our Join Us page.
All forum attendees, hosts and contributors will receive Virtual Membership to Recreation Aotearoa.
