The Todd Energy Aquatic Centre is looking for a full-time Swim School Supervisor to join the venue's fantastic team. Our swim school is a seven-day operation with classes throughout the week and weekend mornings.
The swim school supervisor leads and manages all aspects of our Swim School. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of Aquatic Swim School including but not limited to instructor management, class and teacher supervision and programme efficiency and development.
The position requires an energetic, motivated person who is not afraid to use their own ideas and initiative. To ensure we provide high quality lessons for the customers, you will need to have strong communication skills and a commitment to providing our customers and parents the best possible level of customer service, education and enjoyment from the lessons. The successful candidate should have ideally a minimum of two years previous experience in a similar supervision role.

Given the unique nature of the recreation industry, the successful applicant must be flexible to meet the needs of the venue. This includes working predominantly Monday to Friday however some weekends as required. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to manage and promote learn to swim lessons at all our summer seasonal pools if required.
What you will need to have:
• Ideally a minimum of two years' experience in qualified Swim Teaching
• A passion for teaching swimming
• Experience in managing and leading teams
• Knowledge of budget and KPI management
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Current first aid and CPR •Swim Instructor Qualifications
• Experience with the use of Centaman software (an advantage)
• Experience in Microsoft applications including word and excel
This role is considered a children's worker role and will be subject to safety checking as part of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
