We are currently looking for a capable Foreman who enjoys the outdoors and has a positive work attitude who can lead and grow the team and help drive quality and productivity within the business.

Working within our Civil/Landscaping team, you will predominantly oversee minor civil work projects across Auckland Parks and Reserves with a team to support the delivery of projects. Working on projects such as building playgrounds, installing new footpaths/carparks, building new walking tracks and parks furniture. This role truly provides an opportunity to work on varied asset renewal projects and have positive impact on your local community for everyone's enjoyment. Also including soft/hard landscaping projects, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your skills whilst enhancing our environment.

He kōrero mōu: About you

Naturally, you would have strong customer focus & sound communication skills with the passion and flair for minor civil type works. A strong Health and Safety focus is essential. Having a few years of experience running minor civil project work under your belt would be an advantage. Strong people skills and the ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with key stakeholders and subcontractors would be key determinants to your success in this role. Attitude to seek the right solutions to challenges and continuous improvements would help you succeed. You would need to be physically fit with a high level of stamina and agility for this role.

Having intermediate Excel and Microsoft word skills would also be good.

A Clean full New Zealand drivers' licence is a must for this role.
