Overview of the submission

In this submission, we:

• Outline the health, social, and economic benefits of recreation for individuals and communities, our strategy Te Whai Oranga, and the need for improved access to recreation for people with disabilities.
• Give an overview of the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment’s report into urban green spaces. 
• Support Tauranga City Council’s investment in recreation.
