Tracey-Lee is of Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Porou, and Ngāti Uenuku descent.

Tracey-Lee works for Auckland Council, where she is the Co-Governance Kaiwhakahaere Hōtaka Kaipātiki within the Parks, Sports & Recreation department. She delivered the first Māori pilot programme for Active Whānau.

Tracey-Lee is excited to explore what a future where recreation incorporates a Te Ao Māori worldview will look like in Aotearoa.
