About the role – ngā āhuatanga o te tūranga

This position will lead the district’s aquatic business to be a high performing team and deliver an outstanding level of customer service.

You will:

  • Manage operations of all aquatic facilities district wide

  • Manage training programmes and assessment of Lifeguards and Swim School to industry standards

  • Manage plant operations and maintenance

  • Manage pool user safety and water quality

Who we are looking for – kei te kimi mātou i tēnei momo tangata

We are looking for someone with exceptional management and leadership skills and a great customer focus.

You will need:

  • NZQA Pool Water Treatment and Operations Certificate

  • NZQA Senior Lifeguard Level 4

  • Experience in plant operation and working with chemicals
