You will lead a team to ensure that the parks, gardens and associated assets of our Community Parks are presented and maintained in a manner that enhances Christchurch City's image as New Zealand's "Garden City".

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and high performing professional to collaborate with users and key partners to lead a planning and development team for producing and managing outstanding recreational places and open spaces for residents and visitors.

This position will lead the district’s aquatic business to be a high performing team and deliver an outstanding level of customer service. You will manage operations of all aquatic facilities district wide; manage training programmes and assessment of Lifeguards and Swim School to industry standards; manage plant operations and maintenance; and manage pool user safety and water quality.

We’re getting ready for our busy season and seeking enthusiastic, and reliable Outdoor Education Instructors to join our small team!

Kaiako/Instructors play a huge role in ensuring the quality and safety of our experiences including kayaking & rafting, high ropes climbing, abseiling, hiking, bush skills, archery, and more! We provide meaningful outdoor and social experiences, expanding the horizons of our participants.

Our busy season roughly runs October through April, so each of the roles below are looking to be filled by late September.
