I’m Wendy and I’m the Membership and Administration Coordinator here at Recreation Aotearoa. In this role, I’m here to support our members and help bring your collective voice to the forefront. The other side of my role is taking care of the behind-the-scenes systems such as Glue Up and our finances to ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently.

My background has always been rooted in Customer Service, starting out in retail at Bunnings and gradually incorporating more administration over time. In my previous role,  I was working at a yacht club in Vancouver, Canada where I was on hand to help the yacht club members with anything to do with their membership. While working at a yacht club might sound fabulous like a scene from Top Deck, the reality was a little less glam but still a great experience!

In my spare time you can find me going for a leisurely stroll or swim and then topping it off with a delicious pastry to reward me for my efforts. Lately I’ve been soaking up the last of the sunshine with swimming at places like Days Bay beach and completing walks such as the Stairway to Heaven. I'm always up for trying new and unique recreational activities so please let me know if you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
