We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to join our small team and be the eyes and ears that help keep our operations running smoothly.
Position overview
We are seeking a flexible, customer-focused Business Support Administrator to provide high-quality administration support to our General Manager and staff. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient functioning of day-to-day operations, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and creating ease for our customers. This is a part-time, 0.5 FTE role.
Key responsibilities
- Support bookings for all programmes, ensuring all elements are complete and customers have the necessary information.
- Assist with reporting activities, including compiling, editing, and proofing documentation.
- Enable social media and funding activities as directed by relevant staff.
- Roster instructors and ensure staffing levels meet booking and programme needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain efficient office management procedures to streamline workflows.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally in not-for-profit or educational settings.
- Strong customer service ethic with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing circumstances and last-minute changes.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with MYOB/Xero systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
