When and where is the next Cemeteries & Crematoria Conference?
The New Zealand Cemeteries & Crematoria Conference will now take place on in May 2021, in Rotorua New Zealand. The dates are still to be confirmed. We will be at the same venue - Rotorua Events Centre.
Can I still use my ticket to attend the event in May 2021?
Absolutely! All conference registrations will automatically carry to the May 2021 event.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Yes. Should anything change with your plans and you can't attend the event and would like to pass your registration to someone else, we can arrange it for you. Please get in touch with us and we will help to get the registration transfer sorted.
Can I get a full refund anytime?
While we encourage you to let your registration roll over to May 2021, we understand that the new dates may not work for you and if this is the case, we will help you arrange a refund on your registration. Please get in touch with us if this is your situation.
What can I expect around the programme of the event? Are the speakers locked in?
We will be working with all our presenters and contributors to determine schedules and programme for the May 2021 event. There might be a number of changes, but the content and themes will carry forward.
Over the next year we will also create more opportunities for you to connect and co-create with others in the room. We will update the website accordingly.
I booked accommodation and flights to attend. What can I do with these?
We understand that many delegates will be travelling to Rotorua to attend the conference. We recommend you reschedule your travel plans as the first point of action. We are more than happy to provide a letter for you to explain the situation and the reasons for rescheduling your travel. Please contact us to request it.
Why is it necessary to reschedule the Cemeteries & Crematoria Conference?
Due to the increasing global risk of COVID 19, Recreation Aotearoa and NZCCC have made the decision to postpone the 2020 New Zealand Cemeteries & Crematoria Conference.
We have come to this decision following the guidance of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO). We have taken into account the new travel restrictions on international visitors and the uncertainty around large public gatherings.
While it is a difficult decision to make, at this stage our priority is to ensure the safety of all delegates, contributors and the general New Zealand public.
