Parks Advisory Committee

We are committed to developing our knowledge, informing the places and spacesindustry and supporting the recreation workforce.

With this in mind, we are seeking passionate individuals to provide advice and support to the Parks and Open Spaces Programme Manager by being part of the Parks Advisory Committee.

We welcome applications from those with understanding and experience in parks and open space, engagement in biodiversity, the natural environment, design, education and maintenance. We value diversity on our advisory groups and aim to achieve a balance in gender and age.

The advisory group positions are on a voluntary basis and travel expenses will be covered. The expected commitment is 6 hui per annum, with online hui being called by the Recreation Aotearoa Parks and Open Spaces Programme Manager on an as needed basis.

Please send your application to Karl Nesbitt, Parks and Open Spaces Programme Manager, by 29 August 2019.
