NZRA Staff Changes
It saddens me to announce that Esther Hone-Moore (AUSTSWIM Aotearoa BC Manager) will be leaving the AUSTSWIM staff team on 31 August. Esther has instilled a strong cultural emphasis to ensure the AUSTSWIM Whanau (family) continues to grow with improved strategies to cater for delivery over the expansive land of NZ.
Esther, thank you for initiatives such as the AUSTSWIM Aotearoa Manual, Webinars, set up of a super strong Advisory Committee and the well acknowledged AUSTSWIM Aotearoa conference. Esther will still be involved in AUSTSWIM on a contractual basis and we’ll see her happy loving self at the AUSTSWIM National Conference in September.
It's with great excitement that we can announce the new appointment of Aquatic Project Co-Ordinator Rhiann Collins. Rhiann comes to AUSTSWIM Aotearoa and NZRA with a wealth of experience, and she will be supporting Tracey Prince (Aquatics Project Manager). Rhiann starts her position on Wednesday 6 September. Her contact email will be firstname.lastname@example.org
The time has also come for our Events Manager, Nicole Ramage, to move on to a new challenge. Nicole has been instrumental in growing NZRA events and we wish her all the best. Nicole lifted our game a huge amount from where we used to be and that is a substantial legacy that she should be very proud of. She has been a true blue courageous navigator.
We are currently recruiting for Nicole's replacement and will let you know when we have found the right candidate! We have also created a new role to support the Membership and Event Manager. Our new Events and Membership Co-ordinator, Maryanne Cheater, started with NZRA yesterday and we look forward to her bringing her energy and enthusiasm to the role.
