For you Community Recreation boffins out there, this year's Recreation Conference will be a boon. It's hard to know where to start, but here's a few teasers.

1. There's the international perspective: Dr Stefan Kannewischer from Switzerland who will be talking about European facilities and communities of the future. Or Jayne Miller from the USA on her experience of turning around parks in multi-cultural communtiies.
2. There's the national perspective: for example Dr Ihirange Heke talking about Māori leadership frameworks and working with Iwi beyond the Treaty Settlement era.
3. Or the unique local perpsective: Kataraina Davis on co-designing recreation with Māori and Pasifika communties.
4. To increase your knowledge and networks there will be workshops, thinktanks and even speed dating on new tools and apps.
