The Team Leader - Customer Services and Engagement is responsible for managing, mentoring and developing a high performing team of Customer Service staff to ensure that all customers both internal and external receive a positive customer experience from Recreation Services.

We are looking for a leader with experience in customer service, communication, and public relations. You will be responsible for the setting up and leading the development of a customer centric culture at H2O Xtream and through all public relations, communications, and responses.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Leading, developing and inspiring our front-line Customer Service staff; and
  • Ensuring the promotions of H2O Xtream and Activation are on budget;
  • Engaging with the community

To be considered for this role we are ideally looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in customer service, marketing, communications, or a related field are preferred, but not essential.
  • An interest (background) in recreation, fitness or sport.
  • Experience with financial processes.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Have the skills and knowledge to develop and manage quality administrative systems.

This role is seen as a key role in the management team and in the wider team, so we are looking for someone to be flexible, positive and a willingness to give it a go.
