Recreation Officer - Waitaki District Council

The Waitaki District Council is looking for self-motivated individuals to supervise the delivery of recreational activities including our Playgrounds, Parks and Reserves, Lakes Camping Grounds, and the maintenance of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail in Waitaki.

You will bring a good sense of humour, a can-do attitude and the capability to work collaboratively with others.

Some desirable skills would be:

  • Excellent relationship building across a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • An excellent team working approach.
  • An excellent customer service ethic.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work and follow through.
