About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Parks and Facilities Advisor! In this role you will assist with the development, review, and implementation of policies, strategies and plans related to parks and recreation. You will also work alongside other teams and provide advice to the wider organisation and the public on parks and facilities matters.
This is a fulltime, permanent position based in our Te Aroha office.
Our ideal applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (such as public policy, planning, amenity horticulture, environmental management or similar) or equivalent knowledge through prior work experience.
Ideally you will already know your way around policies, plans and legislation, will have excellent time management and the ability to think strategically will come naturally.
One to two years relevant work experience is preferred but graduates will also be considered.
Needing to relocate? Not a problem as we can offer a relocation allowance and support for the right candidate.
