What we are looking for:
We are seeking a passionate and driven leader to oversee the operation and management of the Napier Aquatic Centre to meet community demand and stakeholder expectations with the highest regard to safety and customer service.
You will be responsible for leading the Aquatic Centre Management team, collaboratively ensuring operations are safe and efficient, driving continuous improvement across aquatic programming and services, controlling expenditure and ensuring aquatic assets are fit for purpose.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree qualification in sport/recreation management or related, and/or equivalent experience;
- Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and business plans to successful outcomes;
- Experience in aquatics, or health and fitness, or community services preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement
- The attitude and ability to champion Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Demonstrated knowledge of asset management and aquatic operations
