Dash Swim School is a recognised leader in the teaching of swimming and water safety. Our philosophy is to teach a child to survive, and then we will teach them to swim. With this philosophy our aim is to be an active contributor in the reduction of drowning rates in New Zealand. With a passionate staff of Teachers focused on this goal, we provide first class, fun, engaging and valued learning experiences for our participants.

All about the job

We are looking for an engaging and organised leader to provide day to day leadership, direction and motivation to the swim school.

In this role you will:

•ensure Dash Swim School provides a high quality Learn To Swim programme meeting the needs of the community, customers and schools

•ensure the commercial success of the swim school through marketing, promotions and performing at a high level to exceed targets

•be responsible for recruiting staff for Cannons Creek pool as well as training and development.

•share our passion for anticipating our customers' needs and providing an exceptional experience every time.

All about you

You will need to show us that you:

•ideally have several years' experience working in an aquatic environment

•have previously lead a team and can effectively lead others in an engaging way

•have the ability to be proactive, to anticipate situations, create opportunities and be action oriented

•have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients and establish credibility and rapport

•drive programme innovation and valued experiences

•can be a practical contributor to reducing drownings in our community.
