Hamilton Pools are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join them. In this position, you will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day operational activities ensuring the safe supervision of customers, the facility, water quality and customer service are all kept to a high standard.

As a Lifeguard Team Leader, no two days are the same! Some of the duties you will be involved in are:

Leading and managing the team of pool Lifeguards to provide a fun, lively environment for our customers, staff and community

Responsibility for the supervision and Health & safety of our staff and customers whilst using our facilities

Operate the pool plant & equipment, and manage pool water quality to a high standard

Empower staff and build succession through staff training and development

Create a culture for improvement, by constantly looking for ways to improve current practices.

Our ideal candidate will be a great leader with the ability to empower and motivate staff and create a positive team environment. You will have strong and effective communication skills, flexibility to run a seven day a week operation, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing business. Experience or knowledge of water treatment would also be an advantage.

The recruiting range for this role starts at $23.00 - 25.00 per hour and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
