We want to set the national standards when it comes to city parks and gardens, and we're looking for passionate committed individuals to help us achieve that vision.
Hamilton City Council’s City Parks team is on the hunt for its next leading hand, a qualified gardener with enthusiasm and aspirations to make our city beautiful.
You will be in charge of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of gardeners, and as part of the role we will want you to pass on and coach one of our apprentices.
You will maintain areas that make our city beautiful Hamilton’s street landscape, annual bedding displays and our array of city parks.
The successful candidate will play key roles in the day-to-day maintenance of these areas and ensure they comply with our high standards and the work is done within our specific time frames.
