Wellington City Council - Recreation Centres Manager

As part of a reorganisation in our recreation facilities, we've created this new role to provide overarching strategic direction at our four recreation centres. The aim is to streamline the way our facilities are run and strengthen the relationships between them, providing a more consistent customer experience.

As well as working on strategy, you'll be working with recreation centre staff to help them grow and develop. They'll do most of the day-to-day running of the facilities; you'll be giving them the tools to do their job well and developing their capabilities. However, to be successful in this role, you should have keen interest in turf maintenance and traffic management.
