David Jahnke is Manager of Business Services for Veterans' Affairs New Zealand (VANZ). Based in Wellington, amongst other responsibilities, David overseas VANZ's involvement in NZ services cemeteries. This includes; Capital works programmes, maintenance contribution grants, provision of Services Plaques and Headstones and assisting to clarify and resolve the complex issues that arise around veterans' eligibility and services cemeteries.

Prior to joining VANZ, David has 20 years' experience in Management roles across both the public and private sector including managing a large retirement village and aged care facility, various roles in the Insurance and Finance industry and serving as an officer in the NZ Army.

David is passionate about honouring our Veterans and ensuring that services cemeteries continue to be a place of pride and remembrance for our Veterans' families and loved ones.
