Final submission on the WorkSafe review of the Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities
In late 2021, WorkSafe released draft changes to the Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities, for public consultation. Two of the key issues considered in this process are the requirements for operators to assess and manage risks associated with natural hazards; and participant risk disclosures. The Recreation Aotearoa submission was based, in part, on a survey we conducted of our members. Thanks to all those that took the time to provide the perspective.
