The New Zealand Parks Awards recognise excellence, innovation, effectiveness and outstanding spaces and places that support activity within the recreation sector.

Award Categories

  • Healthy Park Award - Urban parks, town squares, community hubs, regional, local and forestry parks
  • Active Park/Sports Ground Award - Active adventure park and/or sports park
  • Playground Award - Any playground type
  • Parks Person of the Year - Works in a professional capacity in parks or open spaces
The 2021 New Zealand Parks Awards will be presented at the Green Pavlova Awards Dinner in Rotorua on Thursday 27 May 2021. We can't wait to see you in person to celebrate NZ parks and open spaces!
