Farmlands Young Amenity Horticulturist of the Year - 8 and 9 April, Dunedin Botanic Gardens

The Young Amenity Horticulturist of the Year competition aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in New Zealand's amenity gardens, providing an opportunity for skills and knowledge to grow through personal and professional development.

This is a national event for young amenity horticulturists, organised by Recreation Aotearoa and sponsored by Farmlands, the competition takes place on 8 and 9 April 2019 at Dunedin Botanic Gardens.

The aim of the competition is to encourage young people in horticulture to further develop their skills and knowledge and to increase the opportunities for long term careers in the industry.

Enter the national competition for amenity horticulturists to test your practical abilities, business skills and horticultural knowledge against New Zealand's best.

The winner will compete against the other sectors of horticulture in the Young Horticulturist of the Year Grand Final.
