Parks Asset Planner

Hastings District Council is seeking applications for the position of Parks Asset Planner within the Parks and Property section in the Asset Management Group.  This role is a part-time permanent role, 20 hours per week.  Applications are sought from well organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated people who are committed to quality outcomes for the whole District.

This position is responsible for assisting the Parks Planning and Development Manager to carry out parks asset planning for Council's parks and reserves.  This is achieved by developing and monitoring Asset Management Plans for parks assets, and collecting and maintaining information on the scope and condition of parks assets. Read more...

Administration Assistant

Hamilton is home to over 200 parks and reserves. From large scale sports grounds and beautiful destination parks like Taitua Arboretum to small neighbourhood parks and playgrounds, there are spaces available to suit all recreation and leisure needs.

These parks and reserves are managed by three teams within our tireless and world class Parks and Open Spaces Unit - Landscapes, Sports Areas and Natural Environments. The Unit is now looking for an Administration Assistant to join our busy team.

A critical part of this role is providing exceptional service to people visiting our Unit or contacting us by phone. You will be responsible for handling their enquiries efficiently, and processing them into Work Orders for the team. Read more...

Policy Analyst - Parks and Open Space

We are seeking to appoint a Policy Analyst - Parks and Open Space to join our Community and Cultural Policy (Central) team based in the CBD. The team is responsible for providing policy advice and leading a range of planning projects for the Council and local boards within the central area of Auckland. Central Auckland is defined as the area covered by the local boards of Waitemata, Albert-Eden, Orakei, Maungakeikei-Tamaki, Puketapapa, Waiheke and Great Barrier.
