National Lifeguard Competition 2013

New Zealand's National Lifeguard Competition is being held on 12 August 2013 at ASB Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Pool Water Treatment and Operations Course - NZQA unit standards 25982/25980/25981

Opus Environmental Training Centre has confirmed its 2013 training dates for the Pool Water Treatment and Operations course.  This course is delivered as three 2-day modules and is designed to cover NZQA pool unit standards 25982, 25981 and 25980.  The course also provides the valuable credits for the National Certificate in Recreation and Sport (Aquatics) - Pool Operations.

Professional Development course

One Day Pool Water Quality Course - NZQA Unit Standard 20046

This course is designed to help up skill pool staff on the pool water quality requirements for NZS 5826:2010 Pool Water Quality Standard and provides a good introduction to the operation and maintenance of pool equipment.  This course is delivered nationally or can be tailored to meet individual aquatic facility needs.

Total Productive Maintenance 2 day Introductory Seminar

This is a very valuable seminar and well worth attending. This was one of the tools which helped Rotorua District Council win the SOLGM GHD Local Government Excellence Awards in December 2012 and would be of significant benefit to Aquatic, Leisure & Attraction type facilities and venues (also ideal for any business either in manufacturing or associated plant and or buildings).
