Student Internships
The NZRA has established a relationship with Internship NZ for the placement of students into the New Zealand Recreation industry.
Does your organization need good people? Would you like an intern from another country for a period of time? Internship NZ works with tertiary students in Europe, South America and the USA who have to complete a practical placement (internship) as part of their study.
What Internship New Zealand does in a nutshell is: 1. Get the intern settled in to NZ, including getting their work permit, bank accounts, arrival instructions from the airport etc. 2. Ask the employer to offer them enough hours to live comfortably and pay them the going rate for any role they are performing. 3. Offer the intern support while they are in NZ and help manage their settling into the country and the job.
