Cemeteries Conference

This conference is invaluable for those who work in the cemeteries sector, either publically or privately. Whether you work for local government, are a contractor or consultant, a sexton, reserve manager or a funeral director, the Cemeteries Conference is a must attend event.

Cemeteries & Crematoria 2012 Conference: Beyond 2020

11-13 June 2012, Hawkes Bay
Whether you are from local government, are a funeral director, or a contractor or consultant, this year's conference programme will inform your future management and operational strategy. The conference examines the technical, the interpersonal, and the management skills sets that are required to work in this essential, fast changing and (many times) emotive industry. Join with fellow New Zealand and Australian managers, sextons, contractors, funeral director, administrators and celebrants to glean new knowledge, network and share best practice.  The presentations encompass the cultural & environment and influences that will impact the manner in which the sector operates into the future. You will depart the event with your ‘toolbox' armed with relevant and efficient strategies to assist in your current work, and future planning.

The programme committee are thrilled to have secured Sally Raudin as a key presenter at the event alongside a number of other nationally recognised industry experts. Sally is a Winston Churchill Fellow 2010. As a fellow her investigation was into contemporary funeral and mourning practices, where she researched current practices in England, Scotland, Norway and Sweden.
